We have actually had Precision Garage Door service our garage door in the last few months for totally separate situations. Our garage door began acting up sporadically. We read the reviews of Precision and thought they were our best bet. The technician Stephen came out and after I described what the door was doing he was able to narrow down the problem. Within minutes he had isolated the problem and fixed it. The next time we had a problem with the door in an unrelated matter we immediately called Precision who once again fixed the door promptly.

BE AWARE - I needed 2 new springs - price was $156.0 EACH - i can buy a spring on-line for $34.0. Technician stated he was required to use his bracket, 4x4, nothing special, $61.00 EACH, technician stated i needed new cables - door was working before he arrived, $109.0 per set - I can buy them on line for under $7.00. Technician stated he could "make a call" to get the price lower - why does he have to call anybody for this - why are the prices not lower and fair to begine with - i am not negotiating to buy a car - just to fix two garage doors. Be prepared to PAY for their service.

I appreciated that I received an email the day before the service with a picture of the serviceman. On the day of the service; he called an hour ahead to verify his time of arrival and arrived right on time. The service was done quickly and price was very reasonable. I loved the fact that I knew who my technician was going to be before he showed up. Aaron was professional and didn't mind me being in the garage while he was doing the work. He ran into a couple of snags that he worked through (due to the way my previous opener was installed) and made sure that everything was working to my satisfaction before he left. I was extremely pleased with the service I received and would recommend Precision if you need a repair/new opener.

I don't offer comments like this unless I feel the company earned it...and Precision absolutely earned it. After a bad experience with one of Precision's competitors I contacted them to fix the issue from the first company and also install a new opener. They were excellent to work with. The technician showed up on time, fully explained the work he was going to do, gave me the price which included the service fee, taxes, etc. so I knew exactly what I was paying...and he even corrected the work from a previous company at no additional cost. If you need any service on your Garage door don't waste your time with anyone else.

We looked online for reviews and Precision had the best reviews by far. Merrick called ahead of time and arrived when he said he would. He worked for about 2 hours on our door. We ended up saving about $50 because Merrick did the math and it was cheaper to replace rather than repair. We are very pleased with the work performed.
