I had one broken spring. The tech showed up and spent the first 25 min inspecting the garage door. He then approached me with a quote for every single part on the garage that he stated were broken. Even had some grease on a finger for a supposedly broken bearing. Well the quote to fix a broken spring turned into $2600. I told him to fix the spring which he did. The price was $718 which is about 20% higher than it needed to be. Shame on this company for this behavior. I will spend the time to make sure everyone knows of this experience. I emailed the owner who asked for this review and offered the opportunity to talks this through.

Wilkes, the service technician was very helpful and efficient, troubleshooting the issue right away. My only problem is the safety sensors that needed to be replaced should not have worn out so soon. Scheduling the service was easy and the technician great.

Have used Precision for several years. Jack Hodges did a check of my door and opener. Performed minimal maintenance needed. He was very courteous, polite, knowledgeable. Presented me with information about what needs to be done some time soon, but was not pushy.

Asking me to do a review - that is hilarious! You did not send a serviceman to my house, you sent a salesman! And I kicked him out. 5 estimates ranging from $3200, I think, to $1200. I had my spring replaced by someone else the next day for $285.00 - and when they saw that my guide-wires were a little “elderly,” they threw those in for free. Please quit advertising that you are a military friendly company when you are simply trying to do a massive upscale on EVERYTHING!

We are moving into our new home using the garage as unloading point, and the garage door came off the track and nearly collapsed. We called Precision Door at 900 PM and explained we needed expedited service. They dispatched Garrett Wright by 800AM the next morning. Garrett was professional, courteous and very engaging. It was obvious to us he enjoys his work. He assessed the situation, walked us through various repair options with no pressure, and completed the repair within an hour. I had previously used Performance and was pleases with their workmanship. My garage door had been making loud noises and it stopped working this morning. I contacted the office and was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. John the technician called and said he would be at my home within the hour and he arrived promptly. John met with my wife and I and explained the problems. He went over your options and gave us plenty of time to make our decision. We decided to go with a new opener. John installed the opener, explained the functions and installed the codes. I was extremely pleased with the courtesy extended by John and am pleased with my experience with Precision Garage Door Service today.
