Very prompt service for a jammed garage door chain/trolley assembly. Wilkes was very pleasant and explained all our options for the repair. He was able to fix the problem and then did the tune up and garages door lube. He also fixed the wall unit which had quit working. Thanks again Wilkes for doing an excellent job.

We knew our garage door was old so when the ice storm hit and we lost power and tried to open it manually. The chain came off. It was so easy to book an appointment online that fit my schedule. The very next day Wilkes, the Technician came out and performed his job like a pro. We did not think our old opener could be repaired and as it turns out, we did need a new one. Wilkes had it completed in just over an hour. I appreciated his honestly and friendliness. If we ever need anything for one of our other garage doors we will definitely be calling Precision and asking for Wilkes again.

I first called precision door to repair two garage doors. I was told that the first door needed a new motor even though it opened up and down but didn’t stop when it closed, it just went back up. I thought it just needed an adjustment. Since I needed it to operate, I gave my permission to install the new motor even though I thought a simple adjustment would fix it. The second door motor only two years old I thought needed just an adjustment because it would not close all the way but was told it needed a new motor costing $1600. The tech said that that particular motor had problems and there was no fix for it. I refused the new motor installation and called another company to check it out. When the new technician arrived I explained the problem. Ten minutes later the door was repaired. The problem, two set screws were loose and the door operated as it should, nothing wrong with the motor. I paid the $150 service call and was completely satisfied. I will say I won’t be calling precision door again. Buyer beware.
