I'm only 10 hours into my new Precision garage door opener and I love it! My old screw-type, builder-grade opener gave me trouble for years so I called Precision and I am very happy with the belt-operated opener, it's functions and quietness! I utilized Precision to service a poorly installed garage door and they were able to send someone out same day. The service provided was repair of a broken garage door spring. Brandon arrived exactly on time and was very friendly and professional. He quickly assessed the situation and made recommendations based on both my immediate need to replace a broken spring and my desire to make the door quieter. By the time Brandon left, I had new springs that were superior to the original and a quieter door. Brandon also gave me tips for lubricating key points on the door to minimize noise in the future. Great job, Brandon. I would definitely use Precision Door again based on my experience with Brandon. My overall rating is 5 stars.

One star, or less. When I called your company the operator kind of gave me a price for fixing a broken spring on my garage door. The technicians came to my home and quote me a price of two and a half more than the operator. That is crazy and a waste of your Tec time and mine. I got the door repaired for half as much from a big company like yours. The technicians fixed my door in 30 minutes and I saved over 200 dollars. I showed him the bill your Tec left with me.

Unfortunately our customer service representatives cannot quote a total repair price over the phone. They have been given a price range to quote for various parts. A firm quote cannot be given until the door & opener have been properly inspected. The quote that was given was to do what we recommend for optimal performance & warranty. I'm sorry we couldn't agree to do business. We've found that the cheapest route is not always the best.

Saturday I had Precision Doors come out and service my garage door. Lawrence was the technician and he did a fine job and in a timely manner. He also went over what was wrong and what could be done to remedy the concerns. I appreciated his explanation of things that I could have done to prevent any future problems.

I called to schedule an appointment and was told the service fee would be $65.00 unless parts were needed. The only thing that was wrong was that the cable had come off the pulley when one side of the door came down on the top and of my garbage can. The technician quoted me around 450.00. He wanted to replace my spring and add an additional along with some brackets. He called his manager and got the cost down to 330.00. He told me if I didn't have him repair it I was still going to have to pay $65.00 just for coming out. I didn't have any choice but to have him fix it. There was nothing wrong with the spring other than a little surface rust. I don't appreciate the unethical way you do business and I wouldn't use you again to save my life. Fool me once......

So very sorry you feel this way sir. Unfortunately when dealing with mechanical issues such as these with garage doors, we have policies & procedures in which we follow. We have to take liability & warranty in account. So we do have minimum recommendations to provide the best warrantied repair possible.

Circumstances happened that forced me to deal with your technicians twice in less than one month on two different occasions for two separate and unrelated problems. Thank God we have such reliable and trustworthy service and knowledgeable staff that stand behind the service. This most recent time we called upon you was for an emergency situation late in the day. The emergency phone number to call that the previous technician had stuck to the garage door was a God sent help. The response was prompt and the designated technician, despite the late hour, showed up at our door in less than an hour. Courteous, calm and assuring, he was the perfect addition to the worrisome and distressing situation we were encountering. He showed knowledge and compassion and within less than one hour he was able to straighten out what seemed to me an impossible task to achieve due to the late hour and the condition of the garage door. To me, he was even better than an expensive plastic surgeon, as he went about his job with skill and knowledge and speed to remedy a situation, I thought might not be resolved before the next morning. I thank you and thank him especially for his kind and assuring demeanor that could only be shown by quality real professional. Thank you again as I could not be any happier with your service. It is a service of at least five stars if not more.

Very disappointed. The technician that came to look at door suggested approx 700.00 of work to the door unit to correct the problem, that only consisted of two new springs, cables and rollers. What was suggested had nothing to do with the problem the door was having. The tech diganosed the problem without checking anything, and was wrong in his diagnoses. I refused the work and paid for a tune up which consisted of him checking the tightness of the door bolts and applying grease to the screw drive. Made no difference to the problem. I inspected the door and found the problem which was a 9.80 part at Home Depot. Put that part on and door works beautifully. I feel the tech was just wanting to up sell me and make as much money as possible without regard to customer service. Would not suggest or recommend this company to anyone and will not have them ever do any work for me.

I never felt as though they were pushing a higher cost repair or product. I really appreciated that they were clearly identified and right on time with a arrival call as they promised.
