The problem ended up being very minor. The service technician was prompt and educational about our garage door setup. Very professional service from start to finish. I called originally because the remotes weren't working. Brian came out and discovered that we had inadvertently pressed the lock button (I have never owned a garage before and we just bought this house). He reset it and it worked fine for a couple of days. Then it got stuck in the up position, and when we tried to close the door it would go down about 3 inches then go back up. I called Precision back and was informed by a very friendly woman that if the problem was related to the previous visit there would be no charge. Brian came back out and diagnosed the problem as the circuit board. Replacing it would cost about $200.00, but the remotes would not work. My options were operating the door manually (which my wife wouldnâ??t hear of), or purchasing a new opener (the one that stopped working was over 20 years old). We purchased a new unit, Brian installed it, and we are very pleased. It is super quiet and Brian was very thorough in explaining how to operate the unit, and left the garage just as clean as when he arrived. I would HIGHLY recommend Precision Door to anyone.

Having utilized Precision services before, I placed a call due to what I thought might be a problem. Received the same professional and courteous service from the beginning call to the actual service performed by James McKinney. While James was there to inspect my door he did find that I needed to have a cable replaced that was damaged, to my delight he told me that it was under warranty and replaced it a no charge. While he was there I did ask if he had the parts and could he replace the seal on the bottom of my garage door. When checking he said that he had the rubber seal but didn't have the retainer on his truck due to the previous service call he had been on, he immediately placed a call to Lawrence Palmer who had serviced my door in the past and wasn't far from him, and within 20 mins he had gotten the retainer and returned to fix my door. I can't express how grateful I am for services received and also to have such a Professional Organization, Technical and Team oriented individuals available when emergencies arise, Best of the Best !!!!!!!
