If I was just rating the tech and the quality of work, I would rate it at 5 or better. James is fast, knowledgeable and is a very professional young man. He showed up on time (actually he called and asked if he could come early, which worked out great for me, as I had to return to work). He identified my problem immediately, laid out my options, with no high pressure or scare sales tactics, and took care of it. Now our garage door works great and is about a hundred times quieter. My only minor complaint is that $700 for the 'overhaul' package seems a little high for an hour of work and probably less than $50 worth of hardware. It may pay off in the long run though because of the lifetime transferable warranty.

The technician Cole McCollum arrived on time if not a little early to repair my garage door, The door had multiple problems and required a complete overhaul including a new torsion spring, new cables, new end bearings, new center bearing, new drums and new rollers. Mr McCollum was exceptionally polite, well organized and highly competent. He completed a rather complicated repair in about 2 1/2 hours. Because of better quality parts, the end product was a system that now works much smoother than it did when it was new and exceeded my expectations. Outstanding job!!!

First off i would like to say that i was impressed talking with Jeff, his knowledge of what was going on, nice and courteous. But what i was told when i called was not very close to what i paid, plus on top of that i was charged a $20 fuel charge that i was never told about. I was told between $78 and $178 but paid $250. I called to complain and a manager called Sunday and again was very nice and we talked for 30 minutes. Before he called i would of never used them again but after talking to them i do believe they do good work. I am thinking about having doors replaced and will probably give them a shot at replacing doors.

After receiving services from Precision, I truly believe Precision Garage Door organization to be second to none in providing only the best in Products and Services. From the outstanding and in-depth information provided on the Website to the initial first call to make an appointment, only to be followed up by the Professional Services by the technician Lawrence Palmer, the entire experience was a breath of fresh air. First impression of Mr. Palmer was his professional demeanor and expedience in his arrival time. Mr. Palmer thoroughly explained to me exactly what was needed for repair, the cost and the warranty. I purchased the over-haul package and it was well worth it, my garage door hasn't worked this well and as quite since I had this home built 20 years ago. He did recommend that I should add an extra spring due to the size and weight of the door and I have to say I always wondered why I didn't have double springs originally, this is a big heavy door and I now feel safer for my family when opening and closing it. Had been having trouble out of my old door opener for about 3-4 days. Called Precision from their Yellow pages add. I was pleased to see they had 24-7 service. The tech called when he was supposed to, & showed up when he was supposed to (something I've had trouble with other companies in the past). I choose Precision garage doors for the information and professional website that I read. I was so pleased that they were able to come out the very same day and repair the garage door. I appreciated the email confirmation and notice of who would come to my home for the repair. They were very professional and used quality replacement parts. The garage door works better now than it did when it was new. It now has the proper size springs and equipment necessary for it to work properly. Very happy with the work and professionalism they showed.

Hi: Tech was on time for preset day to repair sprung spring & evaluate condition of 14 yr. old Clopay door. Door was functional before tech arrived. After signing the required contract, he went about his business to replace springs, guide/safety wire & rollers. Door was operational & much quieter after repair. Tech also gave option of different guarantees for different prices & required payment before leaving. Total cost a little over $400.

Incurred a broken spring one night, called Precision the next morning, and had new springs in place by 4pm that day. Very professional, explained my options and allowed me to choose the level of service I needed. It was my 2nd spring in 3 years (from someone else) so the lifetime warranty on all parts is nice.
