The technician was nice and the response was quick, but I was floored by the price being 4x what I paid for a new opener... just to get it back in working order. I know these aren't apples to apples but it was still a major shock. I needed it fixed so I had to pay. If the technician wasn't as nice the score would have been much lower.

Had on going problem of wire jumping pully. Repeatedly tried to repair myself but to no avail. Called Precision. Surprised to get next day service. Very compentant tech quickly realized that original installation was incorrect (rod that contains spring was warped causing pully misalignment). He corrected problem which also required some carpentry work. Very pleased with service. Easily 5 stars.

My springs broke on a Sunday and I called for service at 8am Monday to set an appointment for later that day to replace my main torsion spring which was broken. Chris came out (on time!) and after giving me options, we chose to do a complete makeover of the door with the exception of the actual door and opener. For the past five to six years, our garage door has made an awful noise when it was opened and closed. We had two different companies come out; but after each time, we were left with the same old loud grinding clank. Then, I called Precision Doors. We had received a coupon from them in the mail. The service was very prompt. The technician told us there was nothing he could do to stop the noise, the old rollers were what they were. He could replace the rollers, which he did, and re-align the door, which he did, and wow! what a difference. A great experience and definitely "5 Stars"! Thank you so much.

we had just moved in to our new home, and there was an issue with the garage doors not working properly... so I wrote down the number on the side of the door opener motor, and I was unable to use as it was not a good working number, so I went to the internet to see any repair companies in our area... They came out promptly, the repairman was very professional, he found the problem, fixed it, and made recommendations for future maintenance on the two doors... My garage door was not opening or closing properly. I heard an add on the radio about precision door and called. I got an appointment the next day. The guy came out for the appointment time on time and he even called ahead to let me know he was on his way. The tech looked at the door, explained what was wrong and explained he could fix it. I okayed the repairs and the charges. The door is fixed and makes it much easier to come in and out of the garage. I'm one happy customer.
