I called Precision after the garage door closed on my wife's car and was severely damaged. Jared arrived at the appointment time the following day, and we discussed a new door. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products available and never tried to hard sell me anything, consequently I was able to make a sound decision. After he wrote the order up, he got his tools and parts and was able to repair my broken door so it would function until the new one came in. He was even truthful enough to tell me that while Precision may be slightly higher in price, the thorough work they do to replace a door is better than most if not all garage repair places. I am sure if the service I received for my broken door is any indication, I will be very happy with the installation of the new door.

Brian Printz showed up on time and was very polite and professional, He performed a complete door overhaul in less than an hour, during the door overhaul the rollers were replaced also, I will have to say II have never heard such a quiet door when lifting or closing. I am very happy. The price was a little more than expected but the way I look at it another spring will eventually brake and it will be covered under the lifetime warranty.

Precision was available the day after Thanksgiving, when most other places were not. Lawrence came out and got the broken garage door in place until he could return with the new garage door. On a Saturday, one of my door springs broke. I called the company whose sticker was on my garage door and who advertised 24-hour emergency service, but got no return phone call. I called Precision and got an appointment for later in the day. A little while later, James called me and said he could be there in about 20 minutes, which was about 3 hours earlier than I had expected. He showed up as he promised and was professional and courteous throughout the visit. (I had already read his bio online and knew who to expect.) While he didn't try to "sell" me anything, he explained the different services available (besides repairing the broken spring). I ended up going with an overhaul, and not only is the door working again, it is much quieter than before. I would definitely recommend your company to others.

Our home is now 12 years old and it is known that builders do not always install top of the line products - mechanical items seem to need replacement sooner that 10 years - so it is remarkable that the components of our garage door went the 12 years. The spring installed when the house was built was not a match for the motor, and it was time for some repairs - which Precision did expertly and within short notice. The two springs now match the motor and the gears so I am expecting trouble free performance for a long time to come.

Very professional service from start to finish. I called originally because the remotes weren't working. Brian came out and discovered that we had inadvertently pressed the lock button (I have never owned a garage before and we just bought this house). He reset it and it worked fine for a couple of days. Then it got stuck in the up position, and when we tried to close the door it would go down about 3 inches then go back up. I called Precision back and was informed by a very friendly woman that if the problem was related to the previous visit there would be no charge. Brian came back out and diagnosed the problem as the circuit board. Replacing it would cost about $200.00, but the remotes would not work. My options were operating the door manually (which my wife wouldnâ??t hear of), or purchasing a new opener (the one that stopped working was over 20 years old). We purchased a new unit, Brian installed it, and we are very pleased. It is super quiet and Brian was very thorough in explaining how to operate the unit, and left the garage just as clean as when he arrived. I would HIGHLY recommend Precision Door to anyone.

The problem ended up being very minor. The service technician was prompt and educational about our garage door setup.
